Haryana MBBS 2017 merit list has been released today by Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. The students can check MBBS merit list/ BDS merit list for Government/ Government Aided and Private Institutions from University’s admission website.
MBBS merit list 2017 has been finally released today for admissions to State quota seats in Haryana. Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak (UHSR) is holding centralized allotment process for admission to MBBS/ BDS course in Government/ Government Aided Medical/ Dental Institutions and Private Unaided Medical/ Dental Institutions affiliated to UHSR and State Private Universities of Haryana. The students can check Haryana MBBS merit list 2017 from official websites: www.uhsr.ac.in and www.uhsugadmissions.in.
After getting final approval from Haryana State government, UHSR released the prospectus of MBBS/ BDS Admissions 2017-18 and opened registration facility for State students on July 14. The last date for registering under Haryana MBBS counselling 2017 was July 18, while one more day was given to the applicants for marking corrections in the application data. Initially, it was announced that Haryana NEET merit list will be released on July 20, but the same was delayed and finally today, Haryana MBBS merit list 2017 (provisional) has been published by the University.
UHSR is holding MBBS/ NEET counselling for admission to 85% seats under Haryana State Merit Category. These seats are to be filled up by the relative merit under NEET 2017 of candidates who are either residents of Haryana or have cleared their qualifying examination of 10+2 from the institutions located in Haryana. The admissions will be made through counselling according to the BDS/ MBBS merit list prepared for Haryana State for Open, Reserved Categories and All India merit for Management Category seats respectively based on the marks obtained in NEET 2017.
There are total 600 MBBS seats and 60 BDS seats in Government/ Government Aided institutions in Haryana. The break-up of state-quota seats available in government institutions for Haryana MBBS Counselling 2017:
- 163 seats in PGIMS, Rohtak
- 82 seats in B.P.S., Khanpur Kalan, Sonipat
- 82 in S.H.K. Mewati Government Medical College, Mewat
- 82 seats in Kalpana Chawla Goverment Medical College, Karnal
- 50 seats in ESIC, Faridabad
- 97 seats in MAMC, Agroha
- 48 seats in PGIDS, Rohtak
There are 2 private medical institutions in the State which have total 150 State quota seats and 150 Management Category seats in MBBS course. Other 9 Private Dental Institutions have 400 State quota and 400 Management Category seats in BDS course collectively.
The MBBS counselling is proposed to be conducted in two rounds, followed by Mop Up Round. The first round of counselling is set to start from tomorrow, July 22 and the admissions are to be done through physical counselling for which the venue of counselling is Committee Room, Director’s Office, PGIMS, Rohtak. The academic session in all medical and dental institutions will start from August 1. Below is the schedule for first round of Haryana MBBS counselling 2017:
The students provisionally allotted seats will have to report to the allotted college/ institute within stipulated date, or they will loose their allotted seat. The seat allotment results will be displayed on the official website (mentioned above) and the candidates should note that individual allotment letters will not be sent to the candidates by the University. The candidates will have to produce all the relevant certificates in original including registration and counselling fee receipt for verification, a signed print out of their online application form generated from the website at the time of counselling.
Students can check Category wise merit list for first round of counselling of MBBS/ BDS 2017-18. UHSR has released separate merit lists for government/ government aided and private medical/ dental institutions category wise.
