India has won 2 Gold, 3 Silver & Bronze medals on the first day of athletics at the Asian Games invitational tournament in Indonesia’s Jakarta.

A Gold medal was grabbed by javelin thrower Devinder Singh Kang for his record throw of 75.87  & Sachin Silwal won bronze recording 68.12m. Jithu Baby won a silver in the men’s 400m & other 2 medals are from women’s long jump event.
