Supreme Court has given the direction to the Indian Institute of Technology, IITs to go forward will the admission as well as the counselling process for the candidates who emerged successful in the JEE Advanced 2017. Earlier, as directed by the Supreme Court, the JoSAA third round of counselling for the students who had qualified the JEE Advanced had been halted. The counselling was slated to commence from July 7. The revised schedule for the JoSAA counselling for the third round has been released by the Indian Institute of Technology now.
The third round acceptance or seat withdrawal has started today, i.e. July 11 from 10 am to 5 pm. The process will conclude at 1 pm on July 13. As per the update, 7 rounds of seat allotment were scheduled. Candidates can check the JoSAA seat allotment result 2017 by visiting the official website. Upon visiting the homepage of the official website, candidates will have to click on the relevant link to view the Allotment Result and Pay Seat Acceptance Fee. Thereafter, candidates will be required to enter details to access the result. Candidates should take the print of the result for further reference.
The online registration facility started on June 15. The choice filling also commenced on June 15.
