NewZNew (Mumbai) : Romano’s, an authentic, home-styled Italian restaurant, at the JW Marriott Hotel Mumbai Sahar is all set to host Charles Withington – a wine expert and veteran hailing from South Africa on 23rd July for an evening to learn and experience the finer nuances of wines. Romano’s would serve the finest of wines from the winery of Niel Joubert to complement a delicious four course meal crafted by the Chef’s at Romano’s.
The wines that would be served would be specially flown down from the Paarl side of the Simonsberg Mountain, South Africa. Beautifully matured wines like Neil Joubert Chardonnay which has a lively fruit filled finish, Neil Joubert Sauvignon Blanc which is soft but intense, Neil Joubert Merlot which has a supple tannins lead into dry, smooth finish and Neil Joubert Pinotage which is a medium-bodied and silky-textured with oodles of soft dark fruit and finely balanced tannins would be served.
To complement these wines, there would also be a 4 course meal comprising of Asparagi Alla Parmigiana, Spigola All’acqua Pazza, Brasato di Quaglia, Risotto Di Salsiccia Barese, Risotto di radicchio e fontina and Zabaglione.
