Kapil Sharma At Aap Ki Adalat 19th Sept 2015 Episode Details Questions Asked

Kapil Sharma explained why he gave himself a break from Comedy Nights With Kapil while doing the film.

“I had suffered a major injury while shooting. I had to do workout early mornings to reduce my flab, and walking in the hot sands of Rajasthan was really tiring. This was followed by dance practices. There was so much exertion that I had difficulty in moving my legs. My doctor advised three weeks’ bedrest, and later when I told the TV producers that I was scheduled to go to US for my shows, they said I was giving excuses”.

“It was good that Sajid (Khan) Bhai and Arshad (Warsi) Bhai hosted the shows, and they did it very well”, added Kapil Sharma.

The comedian said it was “a proud moment” for him when the President honoured him for creating awareness about Swachh Bharat at Rashtrapati Bhavan this month.

“When I went to Rashtrapati Bhavan, Venkaiah Naidu welcomed me. I asked him whether he knew me. He said, he watched my shows. It was a proud moment for me. Sometimes I become emotional.”

Asked whether he would invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi to his comedy show, he replied: “Meri bahut ichha hai…Jab koi PM banta hai, woh kisi Party ka nahin, Desh ka hai. Mujhe aisa lagta hai, Modi saheb different bhi hai”. (It’s my wish….whenever somebody becomes PM, he becomes PM not of the party, but of the nation. I feel, Modi saheb is different)

Kapil Sharma described his moments with Christy Clark, the prime minister of British Columbia province in Canada.

“When I went for my show to Vancouver, the PM of British Columbia Christy Clark attended. She was wearing blue, and I was also wearing blue. She was very beautiful. She told me she occasionally watched Bollywood films. Then I requested her to recite the dialogue – ‘Ek chutki sindoor ki keemat tum kya jaano, Kapil Babu’. Actually I was synchronizing, instead of Mohan Babu, or Suresh Babu, I added my name. But she understood.. Women normally have the ability to sense when somebody stares or makes overtures at them”.

Asked whether he ever fell in love, he replied: “Yes, every year, whenever I used to change my classes or school. But that was when I was a teenager. I hardly earned much, and the girls left me one by one.”

On his famous phrase “babaji ka thullu”, Kapil Sharma explained how he used the word “thullu” on impulse. “The children liked it very much. I’ve heard there are T-shirts with the word inscribed on it. Actually, we were improvising to give the phrase a comedy touch. Anyway, it’s a cute word, as if you’re having an icecream”.

Rajat Sharma asked why most his comedy punchlines appeared to be targeted at married women.

Kapil Sharma replied: “Even my parents used to quarrel and then make up. You see, here couples have ‘saat phere’, meaning there are married for seven lives. Ajay Devgn once told me – ‘mar jaana, par shaadi mat karna’, even Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Paaji and even unmarried Varun Dhawan told me the same. But why this advice from those who have enjoyed married life. After all, marriage is a good part of life, if I have to die, let me die by marrying.”

Asked whether he had any intention of marrying, Kapil replied nonchalantly: “Yes, I had this intention since childhood”.

On making fun of mothers in Bollywood films, Kapil Sharma said: “God has entrusted women the responsibility of giving birth to children. It was after all a well-considered decision. Everybody knows men are irresponsible. They will drink beer and their children will become alcoholic. But in Bollywood films, the roles of mothers are a bit exaggerated. Mothers are shown sewing clothes to make their children police inspectors, but, in reality, even female police inspectors find it difficult to make their children tailors.”
