NewZNew (Chandigarh) : The combination is going to be too interesting. It is Vijayta Films, Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and one of the most successful directors of the industry Guddu Dhanoa along with such talented new comers Deep Sidhu and Ronica Singh romancing on the screen and ready to bring you one of the most anticipated Punjabi films of the year ‘Ramta Jogi’. This is the next Punjabi film of film-maker Guddu Dhanoa and ready to hit the screens soon. The music of the film was released on Friday at Hotel Park Plaza, Sector-17. The event was graced by Guddu Dhanoa, lead actors Deep Sidhu, Ronica Singh and music director Santokh Singh and Harry Anand.
The romantic-drama film has been produced by Vijay Singh Dhanoa. Other main actors of the film are Rahul Dev, Zafar Dhillon and Anil Grover. Also for the first time ever, super star Dharmendra has given his voice in the background of a Punjabi film. The story and screenplay of ‘Ramta Jogi’ have been penned by Santosh Dhanoa.
The album has nine songs in total out of which three have been composed by Santokh and the other six by Harry. Santokh has also penned the songs he has composed. And Sham Balkar has written the other six songs. Singers like Sukhwinder Singh, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Javed Bashir, Labh Janjua, Tarannum, Charanjeet Bhullar and Harry Anand himself have lent their voices to the melodious songs.
Music directors Santokh and Harry commented that we have put all flavors in the music list of the film. Romantic, dance, sad songs are all part of it. Also we have been very particular about the lyrics because songs always take your story forward. The singers have beautifully sung the songs and the album has come out really well.
Guddu Dhanoa talked in a technical manner on this occasion and said that whenever a new pair debuts on screen, the music has to be very supportive for their first impression. My lead actors Deep and Ronica look fabulous together and these songs bring out the real on-screen chemistry between them. We have exclusively shot some songs at prime locations so that they add to the grand feel of the film.
Deep and Ronica said, “We all have grown up seeing our favorite stars in best of the music of our film industry. Be it Punjabi or Hindi, the songs have always been an important part of every film. The music of this film is like a dream come true for both of us. We romanced on camera and our director and music directors have really presented us on a grand scale. What better we could have got? Now we are keeping our fingers crossed for the box-office reports.”
Ending the talk up Guddu said, “I also feel that Dharmendra ji is a part of the music team of the film since he is there in the background as a voice. Also I am very happy that his home production banner is bringing out such a masterpiece for the Punjabi cinema. It will certainly give a new definition to love.”
