NewZNew (S A S Nagar) : Oakridge International School celebrated Teacher’s Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. The school got the festive aura as the whole campus was abuzz with activities. Students presented many songs and dances for the teachers. Fun games, music and dance for the teachers were also arranged to make teachers feel special. Students and teachers also remembered the great leader and a teacher, Dr. SarvaPalli Radhakrishnan whose birthday is celebrated as Teacher’s Day. The day ended with a happy note as teachers got opportunity to relax from their busy routine.

While commending indebtable contribution of teachers Principal Ramanjit Ghuman said that teacher’s day is symbol of tribute and honour to the contribution made by teachers to the society. They are capable to influence and mould a student’s life positively. They show the students right path to groom & face the most difficult challenges of life and get through them, easily and transform them into responsible citizens.

Abhishek Sharma, the Director of the school said that teacher’s day is a wonderful opportunity for the students to extend their sincere gratitude to their teachers for playing an important role in the life of their life.
