NewZNew (Bathinda) : In order to increase coordination between police and the common man and redress problems of people on priority basis, the Punjab government has set up Saanjh Kendras that are proving useful to people. The SSP Bathinda Mr Inder Mohan Singh Bhatti said that these Saanjh Kendras provide time bound services so that people do not face any kind of problem. A district level community policing resource committee has also been formed.

At the meeting of Community Policing Resource Center committee the suggestions were invited for the pro-people works police were conducting, to listen to grievances and redress them.

The members of senior citizen related committee, traffic problems committee, women, family, domestic problems, rehabilitation and children’s committee, committee for controlling drug addiction, law and order committee members and others were present at the meeting.
