Punjab School timing changed considering foggy conditions : The Punjab Education Department has issued an order to change the timings of all the Govt, private, aided and recognised Primary, Middle, High and Senior Secondary Schools in the state.
In the wake of cold wave, Punjab education department has issued a notification regarding change in school timings across the state. As per the latest instructions, all government, private aided and affiliated schools on Thursday were asked to change the school timings with immediate effect.
Disclosing this, Punjab Education Minister Mr. O.P. Soni said that to ensure that our children are kept safe from intense fog and harsh weather conditions, we have decided to change the school timings with immediate effect. While all the schools will now start at 10 am, the primary schools will continue till 4 pm, remaining middle, high and senior secondary schools will operate till 4:15 pm.
