Real reason why you’re paying so much for petrol & diesel

A major reason being attributed to the fuel price rise is the surge in crude oil & rupee’s depreciation, causing Petrol & Diesel prices to surge by ₹84.07 & 73.45 per litre respectively Also, taxes & dealer commissions for petrol is 50 % while for diesel it ‘s 40 % .

However , the situation cannot be controlled until the Govt slashes excise duties & the states regulate VAT.
