– SCHEDULED CASTE WING TO HOLD DISTRICT WISE MEETINGS FOR A FORTNIGHT TO MOBILISE MASSES FOR THE FUNCTION
– SAD ALL SET TO MAKE IT A BIGGEST SHOW
NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Shiromani Akali Dal today finalised a programme to make martyrdom anniversary of Baba Jeewan Singh Ji (Bhai Jaita Ji) to be organised at village Bishambarpura, District Amritsar on December 20, 2014, a big show for which Scheduled Caste Wing of SAD under the chairmanship of Cabinet Minister S. Gulzar Singh Ranike would make a state wide whirlwind tour to mobilise masses for this mega event.
Ranike, who today met Chief Minister S. Parkash Singh Badal to discuss the modalities of the mega show, gave the final touches to the schedule of workers meeting to be held in every district for next 15 days.
He said that Shiromani Akali Dal has also finalised a campaign to take the message of Bhai Jaita Ji to every nook and corner of the state and explain its relevance in modern era. S. Ranike said that CM has also finalised a list of district coordinators who would be coordinating with other district wings of SAD to execute this campaign in a planned way besides ensuring massive participation of people and Akali Dal cadre in the mega conference.
The schedule of meeting finalised by the SAD for next fortnight includes meeting at Tarn Taran on November 22, at Amritsar on November 23, at Kapurthala and Jalandhar on November 28, at Gurdaspur and Pathankot on November 29, at Moga and Ferozepur on November 30, and Mansa and Bathinda on December 1. He said that second phase of meetings would start at Barnala and Sangrur on December 2, at Faridkot and Mukatsar Sahib on December 3, Mohali and Ropar on December 4, Fatehgarh Sahib and Patiala on December 5, Nawa Shehar and Hoshiarpur on December 6 and Ludhiana on December 8, 2014.
Gulzar Singh Ranike said that after these meetings, the venue committee, infrastructure committee and langar committee would coordinate with local authorities for smooth organisation of this mega show.
