‘Sarva Dharma Sangam’ by S.S.Jain Sabha, Chandigarh on 1st October at Law Auditorium: On the occasion of 140th birth anniversary of Acharya Samrat Pujya Shri Atmaram Ji Maharaj and 96th birth anniversary of National Saint Vachanacharya Shri Manohar Muni Ji Maharaj, S.S. ‘Sarva Dharma Sangam’ will be organized by Jain Sabha, Sector 18 D, Chandigarh in the presence and sacred inspiration of Bharat Sant Gaurav Shri Piyush Muni Ji Maharaj, on 1st October, from 9:30 AM to 1 PM, in the Law Auditorium of Panjab University, Chandigarh.
The main objective is to promote love and brotherhood.
Addressing a press conference organized at Jain Sthanak, Sector 18, Deputy Promoter Bharat Sant Gaurav Shri Piyush Muni Ji Maharaj said that religion unites, not divides. While explaining the reality of religion, he inspired to respect all religions. Bhajan program will also be organized on this occasion. He has appealed to people of all sects to participate in this Sangam.
Giving information, he said that religious leaders from different parts of the country and eminent teachers of other religions will participate in Sarva Dharma Sangam and share their views on the subject. In which Geeta Manishi Mahamandaleshwar Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj (Jio Geeta Foundation); Singh Sahib Giani Ranbir Singh (Chief Jathedar- Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Sri Amritsar); Namdhari sect head Satguru Uday Singh (Bhaini Sahib); Sant Shri Balbir Singh Seechewal (Environmentalist) Rajya Sabha MP; Mahamandaleshwar Swami Sampurnanand, Anita Didi(Brahmakumari); Vinay Muni Ji Maharaj; Respected Dr. Inderjit Vijay Ji Maharaj; Sant Baljit Singh Maharaj (Chief, Vishwa Spiritual Center) and other gurus will participate.
He said that the program will be attended by Punjab Finance, Excise and Taxation Planning Minister Harpal Singh Cheema; Iqbal Singh Lalpura, Chairman of the Minorities Commission of the Government of India; BJP National General Secretary Dushyant Gautam, former Chief Minister of Gujarat and in-charge of Punjab, Chandigarh Vijay Rupani and other dignitaries will be the chief guests. Haryana Police Housing Corporation Managing Director (IAS) R C Mishra was present as the special guest in the programme; Punjab Additional Director General of Police Traffic AS Rai; Haryana Home Guard will be Additional Director General of Police SK Jain.
On this occasion, Sabha’s publicity secretary Neeraj Jain said that this event organized by S.S. Jain Sabha, Chandigarh is the first in Chandigarh while this is its 7th edition. This event is being organized in different provinces for the last 6 years and it is organized every year in Chaturmas to commemorate the 140th birth anniversary of Acharya Samrat Pujya Shri Atmaram Ji Maharaj and the 96th birth anniversary of National Sant Vachanacharya Shri Manohar Muni Ji Maharaj. .
