NewZNew (CHandigarh) : SML ISUZU LIMITED, a leading manufacturer of commercial vehicles in India with manufacturing facility located at Village Asron, Distt. Nawanshahr (Ropar), under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Healthcare Program, has collaborated with GMCH, Sector 32, Chandigarh to provide free medical checkups including preventive health care at door steps of people residing in colonies / rural areas and the weaker section of the society by providing a ambulance cum mobile van fitted with necessary equipments.
Mr. Eiichi Seto, Managing Director & CEO and Mr. Gopal Bansal, Whole-time Director & CFO of the Company (SML ISUZU LIMITED) today on 22nd March 2016 handed over the ambulance cum mobile van to Prof. Dr. Atul Sachdev (Director – Principal, GMCH, Sector 32).
SML Isuzu officials stated that the ambulance cum mobile van will provide healthcare including preventive healthcare primarily to weaker section of the society at their doorsteps which will also reduce the numbers of patients in the hospitals. They added that the Company is committed to improve healthcare facilities in the region and will work with leading hospitals in future also.
