NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Sh. Danish Ashraf, IAS, Sub Divisional Magistrate, UT, Chandigarh made a special drive of cleanliness in Ramdarbar. All the concerned Sanitary Inspector were directed to be present to check the Safai Karmchari performing their duty with full dedication. The Safai karamchari’s cleaned the inner part of Ramdarbar Colony and 10-12 rehari of garbage collected and in every dustbin point has been cleaned. Three trolley of dumping garbage was also cleaned in Air force boundary; one trolley of dumping garbage of Gas Agency, five big boxes of garbage has been cleaned in Sahaj Safai Kendra, Dustbin point of near Gurudwara, Mandi ground road and Gas Agency made empty. Malba lying in 3 BRD Road has also been removed and kept in aside.
Sh. Danish Ashraf, IAS, SDM (East)-cum- Additional Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh directed another team for special drive for anti encroachment. Wherein 148 challan have been issued in Industrial Area, Phase 11 and Ramdarbar, Chandigarh and loaded three trucks of seized articles like Chair tables, Gas cylinder, furniture from the Kabaris. 7-8 Dhabas have also been issued challan and their articles Tent, counters, Electricals item, grinding machine, cutter etc seized.
Sh. Danish Ashraf, IAS, SDM(East)-cum- Additional Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh further informed that this drive would be continued in near future for removal of encroachment in his jurisdiction.
He has decided to take every week a focus area for different M.C related work. This week “Ramdarbar” will be the focus week.
