SSLC supplementary result 2017, Karnataka 10th supplementary result are expected to be announced this week. There were some reports that the SSLC result 2017 of supplementary examinations will be declared on Monday, however the official portal of KSEEB has still not updated the status or put up any notice about the announcement of the same. We’ll be updating this article if anything like that comes up.
Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) is the authoritative board that is responsible for regulating the education on SSLC level, from holding the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations each year, to declare the results of the examinations.
In Karnataka, SSLC supplementary examinations 2017 were conducted between June 15 to June 22 for the students who have failed to meet the passing grades criteria in the SSLC March 2017 examinations. Nonetheless, getting passed in the SSLC supplementary examinations will still save a precious year for the students. The notification to hold the supplementary exams was issued after the results of SSLC March 2017 examinations were announced on May 12, 2017.
If a report by HT is to be followed, near 7.64 lakh students had appeared for the SSLC March 2017 examinations from 14,154 schools in the state, of which, only 73.26% had passed, bringing the overall passing percentage down from 79.16% in 2016 and 81.82% in the year before. Now, those students who failed were required to apply and appear for the supplementary exams scheduled for June 2017.
The evaluation of answer scripts of the students who wrote SSLC supplementary examination, was initiated by June-end and was to be completed by first week of July. The board has not provided the exact date and time for the declaration of SSLC supplementary exam result or improvement result, but preliminary reports from sources indicate that the results are just around the corner, and may be announced any day this week.
As many as 2.5 lakh students have written the SSLC supplementary/improvement examination in 2017. The board had ordered around 15,000 teachers for the evaluation of their answer scripts to make sure of the result declaration on time, so that the students may participate in the admission process for first year of their pre-University education.
The students should note that the result of their Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination 2017 will be published on www.karresults.nic.in, and once announced, they will be able to check by entering their roll number and other required details.
So far, no date has been set and notified by the State high school board. We’ll update this article when there’s more to the story.
