The Department of Employment and Training, Telangana, has released the merit list for the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) and State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT). All the candidates can check the same at iti.telangana.gov.in

Steps to check Telangana NCVT ITI Merit List 2017:

  • Click on ‘Student Login’
  • Enter your registered ID
  • Merit list will appear on the screen

Note: All the candidates are advised to take print out of the same for future reference.

This particular exam cannot be attempted more than five times.

Moreover, all those who have been admitted in trades affiliated to NCVT will be issued National Trade Certificates in their concerned trade after passing the All India Trade Test (AITT).

Further, all the candidates who have made it to the merit list will be given admission to 54 government ITIs and 222 private ITIs.

The Industrial Training Institutes popularly known as I.T.I.s were established to ensure a steady flow of skilled workers in different trades for the domestic industry, to raise the industrial production quantitatively and qualitatively by systematic training, to reduce unemployment among the educated youth by providing the employable training, to cultivate and nurture a technical and industrial attitude in the minds of younger generation.

I.T.I.s impart Vocational Training in various Engineering and Non-Engineering Trades Under Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) to produce skilled manpower required for industries. The syllabi of various trades are formulated by Director General of Training (DGT), New Delhi under Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) Govt. of India.
