The Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination result will be declared at 9:30 AM today by the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu. The Tamil Nadu DGE will release the results on the board’s website- tnresults.nic.in. Students who had appeared for the Plus 2 Tamil Nadu HSC examination, may check their results at- tnresults.nic.in, which is the TN Board’s official website.

Nearly 8,98,763 students appeared in the HSC exams which were conducted from March 3 to April 6. Out of the total students who appeared for the TN HSC examination, 36,411 students registered for the Plus Two examination in Coimbatore and 25,401 candidates registered from Tirupur this year.
TN Plus 2 Result 2018: Know how to check your result at tnresults.nic.in:
Step 1: Visit the Tamil Nadu Board’s official website- tnresults.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the link which reads- ‘TN HSC Result 2018’.
Step 3: Enter your relevant details and submit.
Step 4: View and download your result.
Step 5: Take a print out of your result for future purposes.
Apart from checking on the official website- tnresults.nic.in, students may also check their TN Plus 2 Result 2018 at examresults.net and dge.tn.gov.in. The Tamil Nadu government will not be declaring its list of toppers and their marks or ranks so that students aren’t depressed. State education minister Sengottaiyan confirmed the same saying that announcing the names of toppers and the marks obtained by them causes mental stress to children. Just like other boards, Tamil Nadu Board too made sure unfair means weren’t used during examination and hence flying squads visited the centres to ensure the same.
Students are requested not to panic and wait patiently for their Tamil Nadu Plus 2 Result 2018.
