Tricity Chandigarh’s social worker and entrepreneur Hari Om Verma presented a unique example: Renowned Social worker and entrepreneur of Chandigarh Tricity has set a unique example for the society by organizing a blood donation camp for human welfare on the birthday of his late wife.
Social worker and entrepreneur Hari Om Verma organized this blood donation camp in the premises of his industrial unit ‘Ramani Precision Machines Private Limited’ located in JLPL Industrial Area, Mohali Sector 82.
This blood donation camp was inaugurated by Ravijit Singh, President of Industrial Business Honors Association Sector 82, which was organized in collaboration with the team of Rotary and Blood Bank Society Resource Center Sector 37.
On this occasion, the staff of Ramani Industries along with the staff of other industrial units located in Sector 82 actively participated in the blood donation camp. About 100 units of blood were collected in this blood donation camp which continued till noon.
On this occasion, Hari Om Verma, Managing Director of Ramani Precision Machines Pvt Ltd told that his wife Indu Bala had passed away one and a half years ago. She was always involved in social service works. He told that he and his two sons Manik Verma and Rahul Verma run this Ramani Precision Machines Pvt Ltd.
He further said that keeping his wife’s spirit of social service alive, he has been organizing blood donation camps every year on her birthday., which is a true tribute to his wife. This is the second blood donation camp in his memory.
On the occasion of blood donation camp, Vice President of Industrial Business Honors Association Sector 82 Deepak Sharma and other office bearers were also present. Those who donated blood in the blood donation camp were also honored by giving them a momento along with a certificate.
After the blood donation camp, lunch arrangements were also made for the staff of Ramani Industry.
