NewZNew (Panchkula) : A unique Mothers’ Day celebration was organized for mothers of students of Doon Public School, Panchkula, which is a CBSE New Generation School. Mothers had to go through four innovative rounds in a competition held to select the ‘Supermom’. The rounds were ‘Jitney Jyada Utnay kam’,‘Hanso aur Hansao’,‘Dekhen kitna Hai Dum’ and ‘Jala lo Dimag ki Batti’.
At the end of the competition Mrs. Rajul Bansal was adjudged Supermom, 1st Runner Up was Mrs. Bhavna Sharma and Mrs Sheth Jigna Hitesh was declared 2nd Runner Up. A tribute to Mothers was paid through a dance by pre-nursery students, a medley performance and a Mime based on the theme of Mothers’ care & love. Fun Games & Tambola were organized for Mothers who had a great and enjoyable outing. In the end the winning trio was honoured with certificates, & crowns. The winning moms also participated in a Cake cutting ceremony.
