NewZNew (S A S Nagar) : Students of  Universal Group of Institutions developed Mobile Application UGI Touch  which is launched by Madan Mohan Mittal Minister for Industry and Commerce, Minister for Technical Education & Industrial Training, Minister for Family Welfare and Minister for Parliamentary affairs. Anurag, Arun, Deepshikha and Karamjeet CSE 7th Semester under the guidance  of The Dean Planning & Administration of UGI Shweta Sharma  developed this application.

According to her this application will be very beneficial for the students and  parents also as they can see the process of Admission, time table, notifications etc. directly from their Smart phone. They can directly see the various courses available, Examinations, Events etc. of the Institution. Moreover, they can also pay their child fees through this mobile application.

Dr. Gurpreet Singh Chairman of the Universal Group of Institutions said that this mobile application can run on any android smart phone, which can be downloaded from any android Smart phone play store free of cost. He said that in this technical era many students rely on their smart phones so taking this into consideration this app is created so that students as well as parents remain up to date without wasting their  time .They can directly download the matter from the app and can see various notifications.
