- Wedding Wish gets award, announces start of social project
NewZNew (Chandigarh) : City based Wedding Wish, which is known for having given ‘Match Making’ a professional makeover, has once again done the region proud by bagging the award of ‘Leading Matrimonial Service Provider in North India’, at the National level. The award is the result of a holistic market survey conducted by Brand Achievers, a Market Research Organization. Ms. Aditi B Singla, MD, Wedding Wish received the same from renowned Actor Shekhar Suman in Delhi, recently. It is noteworthy that the company had bagged ‘The best Matrimonial Service provides in Tri-city and Punjab award in 2014, at the Punjab Global Lifestyle Award event. Wedding Wish won this honour after an exhaustive market research done by Prime Time Research.
Ms. Aditi B. Singla, MD, Wedding Wish said at a media conference, “We have been declared as the Leading Matrimonial Service provider in the geographical area of Delhi, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan. The competition was intense right since we were nominated among others in the same Industry. I feel we came up trumps due to our quality of service delivery, computerized maintenance of data base of grooms and brides– which is well secured for client, video reviews of families who enter the match making field & a proper corporate structure of operations.”
Wedding Wish has been a front runner when it comes to Corporate Social Responsibility too. Recently it has taken on board as many as 22 girls from the underprivileged segment of society, who will be trained in different areas of business and finally be given management positions within the company itself. “Twelve (12) of these girls have already joined the programme with us and shortly ten (10) more will come into the Wedding Wish family very soon. We always try to do our bit for social welfare in whatever way we can possibly do either by recruiting under privileged girls or by donation open heartedly in the marriages of girls belongs to under privileged section of the society as its society only which has given us so much.”
In the media meet, Ms. Aditi B. Singla, MD was joined by heads of different departments of Wedding Wish. A lot of marriage related subjects were discussed. Marriage trends were looked at & the growth of the match making industry too was a subject touched upon. Wedding Wish management shared some business plans also at the media meet. It was informed that the company was up-beat about the future and is planning a new office very soon. It was also revealed that the company will go the MNC way soon, with a centre in the USA. Personalized service & an ethical business model have been instrumental in Wedding Wish help as many as around 2 thousand couples tie the nuptial knot in the last 3 years of its presence in Chandigarh, another 5 hundred is in pipeline to get solemnized soon.
