NewZNew (Panchkula) : ‘Women’s Day’ was celebrated with great fervour and enthusiasm in Doon Public School, a CBSE New Generation Sr. Sec. School, Sector-21, Panchkula. A Lot of Fun games were organized for the female teachers & staff, to make their day great. Grandparents were also invited to give words of guidance to the faculty members. All enjoyed the day. The winning team was given a trophy and the all the women who participated were also honoured.

Mrs. Sunita Anand, Vice Principal, Doon Public School said, “Women empowerment is the need of the hour and we at Doon Public School, Panchkula have always tried to motivate women to grow, so to carve out a niche for themselves in an otherwise male dominated society. The celebration held today at the school was a tribute to woman-hood.”
