NewZNew (Bathinda) : Eighteen students of the Government Polytechnic College have been selected for jobs with different companies. Deputy Commissioner Dr Basnat Garg said that if students work hard with utmost dedication, no goal is unattainable for them. Congratulating the students, staff and principal of the colleges he said it was matter of pride for the area that Government Polytechnic College was providing the best of technical education and was contributing in ensuring maximum placement of its students. Encouraging the students to excel in the field of education, he congratulated the institute for bagging prestigious Outsourcing Institution Award.
The Government Polytechnic College has organized college level placement mela last week wherein 18 students of ECE department found placement with eight companies. The general manager BSNL Mr Amit Garg distributed appointment letters to the students with the principal Mr Yadwinder Singh.
Principal Mr Yadwinder Singh said that in the month of March college level placement week is celebrated so that students can get job before they pass out their diploma. College’s training and placement officer Mr Manjit Singh Bhullar stated that college remains in touch with the companies every year to get their students placed.
