NewZNew (Chandigarh) : “SantaBanta.com Ltd. has been organizing Vintage cum Classic Car Rally and Women’s Car Rally to commemorate the International Women’s Day every year”,
informed Prabhdeep Singh Ghai, Director, SantaBanta.com. The most interesting aspect of this event was that the participants tested their skills on TSD (Time, Speed, Distance) format.
So far there have been very successful 5 editions of the same.
6th SantaBanta Women’s Car Rally and Vintage & Classic Car Rally was flagged off by Chandigarh Police SSP Dr Sukhchain Gill from Hotel Lalit and culminated at Elante Mall at 4.30 PM
The earlier 5 editions were very successful and a large number of people participated in the rallies. Apart from the Women Car Rally, the Vintage and Classic Car Rally ensures that the heritage of beauties is displayed by the ardent restorers and the owners. Chandigarh Vintage and Classic Car Club President Brig. Phoolka and the members always look forward to
participating in these rallies in good number. It is well to note, too, that the Chandigarh Police is also participating as the safety partners in these rallies to “promote safety of women”.
The 6th edition of this event was professionally managed by Team Chandigarh Adventure Sports who organise OYYA Auto Cross, DLF Women’s & Wheels, Speed Spirit, Uncagged and a host of others.
