NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Bank of Maharashtra, one of India’s leading public sector banks, launched its new Mobile Banking App – MahaMobile in Chandigarh today. Designed to be intuitive and user friendly, MahaMobile App will enable the bank’s customers to view all their deposit and loan accounts, do fund transfers, bill payments and raise a variety of service requests on their mobile anytime, anywhere.
“We dedicate this app to our customers” said Mr. Harish Gupta, Zonal Manager, Bank of Maharashtra at the launch event at the zonal office of the bank here. “Bank of Maharashtra has always believed in making banking simple for everyone and with smartphones and mobile internet becoming increasingly affordable in India, we offer yet another convenient channel for our customers to bank with us” he added.
Any Bank of Maharashtra customer with a debit card and registered mobile number can register for this facility even without visiting the branch. The app is available for download on all the major app stores.
The launch is part of a series of customer initiatives by the public sector bank as part of Project Utkarsha – its Bank transformation program.
