NewZNew (Chandigarh) : On the occasion of India’s 70th Independence Day, the students of The British School, Chandigarh, witnessed the tiny tots of Kindergarten dressed up as India’s brave freedom fighters. They danced to the tunes of Rang De Basanti and Jai ho. Thereafter, Classes I to V presented a patriotic dance on Vande Mataram and a fancy dress competition was held for them. Rudra Pratap of Class II; dressed up as Mahatma Gandhi & actually got his head shaved off for it.
The students of Classes XI and XII Humanities conducted a debate on the current political issues faced by India. This was followed by an inter-house football match between the students of classes VI to X.
