Haryana Parents Forum for Education demands for a check in Private Schools on the Fee Hike


NewZNew (Chandigarh) : The Forum in a Press meet, raised this heated issue, stating that the parents are being harassed by these schools besides also causing mental trauma to the students.

Ramesh Kumar Rana(State President of the forum) accompanied by Anil Kumar (State Vice President), Tejinder Singh(District President, Faridabad) and Sanjeev Pajni (Treasurer) were present at the conference today.


Ramesh Kumar Rana said, “that the issue was brought Time and again infront of the government but no action was taken due to which the forum had to file a petition in the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The Forum has asked for a complete ban on arbitarily increasing the tuition fee, removal of annual charges, insurance, development charges, computer charges etc. He also said that “the schools were charging annual charges of Rs.20,000-25,000 and 8,000-10,000 under IT fee Head.”

Also adding to this he said, “that government was a mute spectator to all this and should act in an appropriate manner.”
