NewZNew (Mohali) : Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mohali launched a discount card, ‘Citizen Plus’, for senior citizens today . Through this card the senior citizens can avail special privileges including priority among patients besides discounted rates on investigations, consultations , procedures and complete assistance at hospital.
The card was launched by Sandeep Dogra, sr vice president & zonal head, Max Hospitals Punjab in the presence of presidents of Senior Citizens Associations from Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula.
The membership of the ‘Citizen Plus’ is available for senior citizens above 60-yr of age residing in tricity and region . With this, a member will be entitled to the discounted consultations across a wide range of specialties during out-patient department (OPD) hours. In addition, 30 per cent discount will be given on all OPD imaging, lab investigations ,PHP & diagnostics. The 20 percent discount will be available on consultations for sr citizens, 10 percent discount on room rent and diagnostic (except outsourced investigation) in IPD, complimentary ambulance service within 15-km radius in case of emergency.
Speaking during occasion, Mr. Sandeep Dogra said that by providing discounted services, we are hopeful that the focus will shift more towards preventive health care, early diagnosis and prompt management of the health problems of our senior citizens.
Dr G P Malik, Medical Advisor to Max said that through this initiative, Max aims to ensure that our senior citizens remain healthy and happy.
