NewZNew (Mohali) : National Science Day celebrated at Gian Jyoti Group of Intuitions. Various science projects including robotics were exhibited and Quiz Game Shows based on Science theme were organized. To test the computing and mind skills of students, LAN Gaming was also organized for the students. Apart from that Poster making competition on theme of Science and Technology was the main attraction of the event.
Chairman of Gian Jyoti Educational Society Mr. J.S Bedi distributed the prizes and addressed the students for wishing them best for their future. He also emphasized on the importance of the proper use of technology.
While speaking on this occasion Chairman Bedi said this day is celebrated all over India with great enthusiasm on 28th of February every year in order to commemorate the invention of the Raman Effect in India by the Indian physicist, Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman on the same day in the year 1928.
While congratulate the winners and the participants he said that science in today’s era is evolving very fast and we need to keep pace with the increasing use of science and technology.
