NewZNew (Chandigarh) : The Punjab Government will be organising Agriculture Training Camps at districts level from March14 to April 12, 2015 in the state.
Disclosing this here today Director Agriculture, Punjab Mr. Mangal Singh Sandhu said that experts from the Punjab Agriculture University would impart knowledge about the technique of agriculture to get maximum benefits from the latest techniques of Rabi and Kharif crops.
He further said that the series of camps would start on March 14, at Rakhra in district Patiala, followed by Faridkot and Sri Mukatsar Sahib March 15, Nawanshehar and Jalandhar March 21, Jandiala (Amritsar) and TarnTaran March 22, Fazilka and Ferozepur March 28, Bhatinda and Mansa March 29, Ropar and Mohali April2, Ludhiana and Moga April 3, Sangrur and Barnala April 4, Pathankot and Gurdaspur April 5. Hoshiarpur and Kapurthala April 11 and Sri Fatehgarh Sahib April 12.
He also said that the latest agricultural machinery, equipments and implements will be displayed at these camps by the government and private agencies. He also appealed to the state farmers to visit these camps and learn the new and latest techniques to get more benefits from the agriculture and allied occupation.
