[dropcap]T[/dropcap]amil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) had conducted the Police Recruitment examination on 21st May and the results were awaited by over 5 lakh candidates. The Board declared the result today and has published the same center-wise at its official website tnusrbonline.org. The candidates can also check the final answer key of the exam from the official website.
As per the reports, nearly 5.5 lakh candidates had taken the recruitment exam conducted by TNUSRB in May. Around 1 million candidates had actually applied for the exam. The Board had conducted the written exam to fill 15,664 posts of Police Constable, Jail Warders and Fireman. The applications for TNUSRB recruitment were filled in the month of January & February earlier this year.
TNUSRB Result 2017
TNUSRB has declared the Police exam result for all 32 centers. The list of roll numbers of shortlisted candidates is available at tnusrbonline.org in pdf file. The centers are: Chennai, Thiruvallur, Kancheepuram, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Salem, Namakkal, Coimbatore, Erode, Tiruppur, The Nilgiris, Trichy, Ariyalur, Perambalur, Karur, Pudukkottai, Thanjavur, Nagapattinam, Thiruvarur, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Dindigul, Theni, Ramanathapuram, Sivagangai, Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi and Kanyakumari.
The candidates can check the TNUSRB result pdf file from the official website by clicking on the Center’s name where they had taken the paper. The Board has selected candidates equal to 5 times the number of vacancies and these shortlisted candidates will now have to appear for PMT/ ET/ PET (Physical Measurement Test, Endurance Test and Physical Efficiency Test). The call letters for PMT will be available from 12th July.
Note: TNUSRB has not published the marks obtained by the candidates in the exam and only roll numbers of shortlisted candidates have been declared. Marks will be published online on 12th July.
