New launches with unique features in Inverter ACs attract huge crowds at CII Coolex

NewZNew (Chandigarh) : CII Coolex 2015, going on at Himachal Bhawan in sector 28 has received overwhelming response from the region, with people turning up in large numbers to catch hold of the immense variety of latest, green, eco-friendly, energy saving and modern technologies, with attractive offers and discounts.

While the evenings were jam-packed, the crowds never stopped pouring in even at to make full use of the new launches of cooling systems to combat the upcoming summers.

One of the main attractions of the show is the new launches in Inverter ACs category wherein various top brands have unveiled ACs which save up to 55-60 % of electricity bills.

This inverter AC draws only that much power as is required to keep the temperature stable at the level desired. So it automatically adjusts its capacity and load based on the requirement of the size of the room that it is cooling. Thus it draws much less power and consumes on 30 % of the electricity after it has worked for 2-3 hours.

Blue Star Ltd has launched an exclusive ‘Cassette Inverter AC’ whose loads reduces from 6 amperes per hour to 2 amperes per hour after working for 23 hours. It leads to a power saving of 60 %, as its inbuilt inverter reduces the burden on the compressor automatically. Hence a 2 tonne AC consumes power that of a .75 tonne AC, giving same results. Its price range starts from 31,000 and is being offered at a discount of 20 % at CII Coolex.

Also, Blue Star’s wide range of Eutectic Freezers, which are chargeable and work for 12-14 hours without power connection are in great demand of Commercial buyers.

Hitachi has launched a first of its kind inverter Kashikoi 400i ACs with Image sensor technology. Its camera senses the number of persons in a room and automatically adjusts the temperature and working of the compressor thereby saving 50-55 % of power consumption. This a self-cleaning model with R410 gas which is 100 % green and climate friendly.

Samsung has launched Triangle design inverter ACs with a unique triangular design and virus doctor, having a three times wider inlet, so that more warm air can be drawn in. The improved width and angle of its outlet, extra v-blades and a bigger fan also ensures that air is cooled and expelled faster, farther and wider to a record 14 meters. Its Virus Doctor and Easy Filter eliminates dust, contaminants, allergens, bacteria and viruses firstly using a filter and secondly with Virus Doctor. Prices at Rs 56000 at Coolex, the product is in high demand here. It’s another unique feature is inbuilt stabilizer.

IFB, another trusted brand has launched a unique patented titanium gold model. It sevaropator fins are coated with Titanium Dioxide which gives a lots cleaning effect.  This leads to better cleaning and sliding of water and hence a 45% improved performance as compared to other ACs. It also has an anti-bacterial filter. Its another unique feature is a record 30 feet long flow.

IFB has also launched UCS (Ultra Chilling System) Technology refrigerators, which has a unique feature of mode adjustments (Holiday mode, Eco mode, Drink cool Mode etc.). It also has dual freezer, 2 voluminous vegetable trays, fresh lock boxes and reserves the food for longest with blast freezing technology at -30 degree Celsius.

Godrej & BOYCE have come up with a special range of 7 star 1.5 tonne Diet ACs which consume only 1258 watts, which is the lowest in the market. It has got 3.9 rating from BEE for energy saving while other 5 star ACs have got just 3.5 or 3.6. Priced at Rs 45000, it runs on R 290 eco-friendly gas and is being offered at a discount of 10% here.

Godrej has also brought Edge Pro Refrigerators, which are 7 star in terms of performance. This range has many unique features like 2.25 Ltr Aqua Space, 44 % more vegetable space and a special dry storage area for onions & potatoes. “For Coolex, we have come up with exclusive range of Green Balance ACs, which are lowest power consumers & 20% better than the existing 5 star rated ACs in the market. If there exists a better product at the same price range, Godrej will give this AC for free and it’s a challenge,” shared representative of Godrej Appliances.

ETA General has launched ACs which work on R 410 gas which is green, eco-friendly and 99.5 % pure gas. “Especially for CII Coolex, we have brought a special range of eco-friendly ACs, which works on COANDO effect, which allows airflow upto 50 sq feet area,” said Mr Vivek Sharma, Assistant Manager-Sales, ETA General Private Limited.

Similarly O General as also launched a unique AC which throws air to 50 feet and saves more that 50 % of power, if in working position for more than 2 hours.

A lot of deep freezers and cooling systems for commercial establishments are also attracting huge queries.
