NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Woodlands House School, Sector-8, Panchkula had its Annual Function on Monday, 23rd February, 2015 at Tagore Theatre. The theme of the show was “Around the World -2015”. The cultural, musical and social aspect of different countries were depicted through dances, songs and plays.
Pre-Nursery-A presented the Indian Wedding, Pre-Nursery-B did Japanese native musical dance, Pre-Nursery-C had shown Malaysian folk lure and Pre-Nursery-D presented the musical dance of Brazil. Nursery A, B, C, D, E & F took us for the amazing journey of Spanish Rythms, Scottish Bonanza, Arabian Grandeur, Glimpse of Indian States, Fifa Football fever and Korean Saga.
K.G. Children’s Play and dances gave us the feeling that, we were visiting Africa, Las-Vegas, Spain and America. Scenes of these different countries were amazing. All the children had taken part in the show. Parents and the audiences were spell bound seeing such awesome acts and efforts of Pre-school children.
The Principal of the Woodlands House school Mrs. Vijay Baksh, said’ that we put up such shows annually for parents to witness that their wards are not only excelling academically but creatively and are exposed and encouraged to enhance their great talents. They also become confident and self reliant when they perform on the stage in front of such large audience.
The chairman, of the Woodlands House School, Mr. Riki Singh addressed the parents telling that for a progress of any educational institution, the main factors are care of children, new concepts, Change in child’s personality, communication, environment, nature & a Positive attitude.
