NewZNew (S A S Nagar) : The Annual Sports Meet organized by Quest Group of Institutions in the college campus. The event was presided over by the Chief Guest Alam Vijay Singh, Deputy Superintendent Police, Mohali. The meet was initiated by the national  flag was  unfurled   &  National Anthem was  enchanted. The event continued with an imposing March Past by all departments i.e. CSE, ECE, ME, Civil & MBA lead by their respective sports  incharges. Oath taking ceremony took place followed by the sports torch carried by the best Athlete Shorya Sharma student of Civil 6th Semester.

In outdoor category students took part in 100 and 200 mt race .Besides volleyball ,high jump ,long jump, Javelin throw, Discus throw ,football ,Kabaddi were main attraction in outdoor games  .However, TableTannies ,Bedmintan ,Carrom, Chess, Gymnastic etc indoor games were also organized at the campus Spectators were amused to watch fun games i.e. tug of the war, potato race, sack race, eating noodles finding balls in mud ,three legs race  . At the moment fun filled games were organized for students as well as faculty members.

While encouraging the students DSP Alam Vijay Singh urged students to adopt never say die attitude and  need to continuously improve themselves to excel .Chairman, D.S. Sekhon, while thanking the chief guest highlighted the importance of sports for ones physical as well as mental development. Best male athlete at the moment was  Pardeep Singh where as best female athlete- E. Chenchebeni.Praveen Kumar, Mechanical engineering was honored as Best Parade Commander.The event concluded with a mind blowing Bhangra performance by the students
