NewZNew (Mohali) : Indo Global colleges organized flash mob in various parts of the city in a bid to sensitize the people about the spreading swine flu. The swine flu awareness flash mob was conducted in busy public places across the region at sector 22, sector 17 & Sukhna Lake to make the citizens aware of different facets of the dreaded disease .Through flash mob students advised the citizens not to panic but to take necessary precautions instead to keep the disease at bay.
Residents were encouraged to adopt good respiratory and hand hygiene practices by staging nukkad natak to help to stem flu infections. They also aware residents apart from vaccination, hygiene is the only method that can help prevent spread.
Speaking on the occasion chairman, Sukhdev Kumar Singla said that most symptoms of swine flu are the same as seasonal flu. They can include, cough, fever, sore throat, runny nose, body aches, fatigue etc. The people should consult doctors immediately if they experience cold, cough, throat pain and affected with viral fever to avoid falling prey to the growing epidemic.
