In association with SBP Group, VR Punjab hosted ‘Winter Wonderland’, a festival to celebrate the spirit of Christmas & the bonhomie of the New year celebrations.
“In tune with our Corporate Social Responsibility and Connecting Communties initiative we conceptualised and promoted a campaign – ‘Share your Joy’ where Guests visiting VR Punjab got an opportunity to donate their hot blankets/quilts for the underprivileged. This went a long way in helping people battling the biting North Indian cold. Apart from this social cause, there was also a flurry of activations including promotions, events & workshops which also resulted in a 30% hike in footfalls as compared to last year.” said Jonathan Yach, Director Operations, Virtuous Retail.
The 25 day fiesta which has concluded provided patrons with engaging workshops & activities that were fun for both children and adults. This included kids’ favourite animated characters, Chhota Bheem, and Chutki meet and greet, Carol Signing & a delightful Santa Parade. A Live performance with Abhishek, Mind over Magic ‘Mind reading activity’ wowed visitors while shoppers were kept engaged with enticing gifts of instant photographs with the festive décor as a backdrop. A Click and Print zone was also created for visitors so that they could take back memories of their visit to VR Punjab .
Interesting workshops which were curated with the festive season of Xmas & New year’s included wreath making, Christmas crackers making, gift wrapping & balloon making.
A Xmas wall — ‘All you want on this Xmas’ had also been put up. Visitors put their gift requests on this and a Santa from VR Punjab, specially went to homes of 10 lucky people, to distribute their gift of choice to them.
